助け合い (Helping others)

Some students will ask me, “Sensei, do you earn a lot from teaching?”, my answer to them is no.

After deducting the rental, about 30%-40% of what i earn goes to help students who are financially in need, another 30% goes to myself for my personal expenses, the remaining goes into savings to help students in future for subsidized trips to Japan, etc.

I believe that teaching is not just about sharing the knowledge, its about wanting to do good for the public, to serve God’s people.
