Beginner Class (Foundation Studies)
This course is specifically aimed at helping you achieve the following:
Core topics:
-What is Japanese all about?
-Why learn Japanese?
-An Introduction to the writing systems: Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji
-Japanese greetings
-Telling the time
-Everyday expressions : eat, drink, sleep, etc.
-An Introduction to Japanese adjectives
Culture:
-An Introduction to the Psychology of Japanese people
-Watching Japanese dramas
-An Introduction to Japanese prefectures and what they are famous for
-An Introduction to understanding Japanese songs

Duration of program: 8 lessons (2 months)

Beginner Class
In our beginner class, we aim to help you to achieve the following:
Key points:
- Ability to converse using simple sentences in Japanese
- If you were all by yourself in Japan for a month, you would be able to find your way around
- In this 2-hour class, 30 minutes is allocated for conversation: each student will be asked to converse and ask questions in Japanese (pair work).
- Master at least 150 – 200 Kanji
- Learn basic Business Japanese phrases
- Learn about professional and business ethics as well as how Japanese corporations are run
- Learn more about the Japanese way of life through real-life experiences
- Introduce you to some Japanese friends who live in Japan and in Singapore
- Continue the understanding of Japanese culture
- Appreciate and understand how to translate Japanese songs and dramas
- Sing Japanese songs
- Be able to take the JLPT N5 exam at the end of the course
At the end of the course, your spoken Japanese will be assessed by a native Japanese speaker in a short oral examination.

Intermediate Class
This course is specifically aimed at helping you achieve the following:
Key points:
- Ability to converse using simple-complex sentences
- You will be able to speak in Japanese with correct intonation and talk about what you do on a daily basis
- In this 2-hour class, 30 minutes is allocated for conversation: each student will be asked to converse and ask questions in Japanese (pair work)
- Master at least 350 – 500 Kanji
- Learn Business Japanese and ethics
- Understand more about Japanese history through real-life experiences
- Plan your own trip to Japan
- Deepen your understanding of Japanese culture
- Appreciate and understand how to translate Japanese songs and dramas
- Learn N3 advanced sentence structures
- Be able to take the JLPT N4 exam at the end of the course
At the end of the course, your spoken Japanese will be assessed by a native Japanese speaker in a short oral examination.

Duration of program: 48-52 lessons (11 months-1 year)

Pre-Advanced Class
This course is specifically aimed at helping you achieve the following:
- Key point: Ability to converse using complex sentences in Japanese fluently. In this 2-hour class, 30 minutes is allocated for conversation (pair work)
- Able to read the newspaper with the help of a dictionary
- Able to comprehend coherent conversations in everyday situations, spoken at a natural speed
- Master at least 1000 Kanji
- Learn Japanese business manners
- Further deepen your understanding of Japanese culture
- Appreciate and understand how to translate Japanese songs and dramas independently
- Learn some Japanese dialects
- Review your pronunciation and accent
- Review of beginner and intermediate grammar
- Able to take the JLPT N2 or N3 exam at the end of the course
At the end of the course, your spoken Japanese will be assessed by a native Japanese speaker in a short oral examination.

Conversation Class
This course is specifically aimed at helping you achieve the following:
- Accents
- Learn the 4 Tokyo accents
- Learn how to pronounce words in the correct accent2.Generate the CI
- Understand how your brain works when generating ideas
- Learn how to generate the CI to help you churn out what you want to say
- Understand how Japanese people learn Japanese
- Understand 国語
- Create sentences using the concept of BX4.Feeling injection/music conversation
- Learn how to inject feelings into your conversations
- Understand how Japanese people express their feelings through conversation
- Use music to help you improve your communication skills5. Create complex sentences
- Understand 活用 and 連体形
- Practise saying sentences with complex structures and many more!
At the end of the course, your spoken Japanese will be assessed by a native Japanese speaker in a short oral examination.
