送別会 (そうべつかい) / Farewell party

みなさん、

こんばんは。今日はある生徒(せいと) の送別会でした。
(Good evening. Today, there was a farewell party for a student.)

この生徒(せいと) はもう４年間ぐらいTLSで勉強しました。
(This student studied with us for about 4 years.)

毎年、JLPTの成績は180点の160点以上です。
(Every year, her JLPT result would be above 160 out of 180.)

彼女はこれから、外国で働くことにして、シンガポールを出ます。
(This student has decided to work overseas and will leave Singapore.)

幸い(さいわい/N3) に、Zoomを通じて(via/N3 grammar)、レッスンを受けます。
(Fortunately, she will attend lessons via Zoom.)

厨 (くりや)というレストランで (N4 grammar) 送別会をやりました。

8人で、会計 (かいけい) は $1014.34でした。
(With 8 pax, the bill came up to be $1014.34.)

この生徒は本当にいい生徒ですので、高級(こうきゅう) レストランで奢りました。
(As this student is really a good student, I treated her (and the class) to a high class restaurant.)
