お帰り日本6: まもなく京都、京都です (Welcome back to Japan 6: Shortly, we’ll reach Kyoto)

皆さん、

こんばんは。明後日帰国します。今日、京都へ行ってきました。猛暑でした。
とはいえ、楽しかったです。

今回は、清水寺、祇園、伏見稲荷大社を回しました。

伏見稲荷大社へのバスを待っているうちに、アメリカ系の外国の方は５人がいて、同じバスを待っているようでした。バスを降りてから、場所がわからない私はバス停近くの（ローソン）に入って、道を教えてもらいました。。一緒に降りた外国人たちも神社の場所がわからないようで、私と私の生徒をついてきました。そのとき、日本語が理解できるよさを感じて、うれしかった。

日本語が理解できるおかげで、日本人と話せて、本当にいいと思います。日本語を勉強していらっしゃる方々、日本語の勉強をがんばってください。

Good evening everyone.

I am going back on Friday. Today i went to Kyoto. It was super hot, but it was enjoyable.

This time, i went to Kiyomizudera, Gion and Fushimi Inari Temple.

While i was waiting for the bus to Fushimi Inari, there were 5 other Americans waiting for the same bus. When we (me and my student) alighted the bus, as i was unsure of the place, i walked into the nearby Lawson and manage to ask for the road there. The other foreigners who alighted with us didn’t seem to know the location and followed us. At that time, i felt the goodness of understanding Japanese.

I think it’s good that i can understand Japanese and speak to the Japanese. Those who are learning Japanese, do work hard for your Japanese. =)
